An amazing, brilliant biodiversity. Thanks to the landscape, the bird migration routes and the mild microclimate, a wide variety of flora and fauna has developed on land, on the sea and in the air, often regionally. The gorse and the broom thrive in all corners of the heathland.
The less wild hydrangea is also known as the symbol of Brittany.hortensias

The special flora is able to conquer the granite, where the spray water hunts. The lichen, the armerias, the spur with pink flowers and the wild cabbage with yellow flowers color the walls of the cliffs. The kittiwake with its black wing tips, the great black-backed gull, the inevitable silver-colored seagull, the impressive gannet and the crested cormorant land on the cliffs. The guillemots, puffins and the small penguins are more rare and can mainly be seen on the island of Sept-îles. The winged fauna is also very fond of the cape of Fréhel and Sizun.

Nowhere in France do you see so many birds and bird sanctuaries as in Brittany. Inland, on the coast and especially on the islets of Les Sept-Îles. Here the birds can live undisturbed. Along the coast live seagulls, guillemots, crested cormorants, gannets (the largest sea bird of the Breton coast) and the puffin. In the interior and the marshes, among other things, the goose goose, the little egret, the shelduck and sometimes you can find the spoonbill.
